It's the Most Wonderful Time of The Year!

Baby Sooter is almost here - Only 10 more weeks until we get to meet her! I have so many plans for this little niece of ours...most of which involves shopping! How can you NOT go overboard in the baby section everything - little girl things are just TOO cute! We showered Baby girl (no name yet!) this weekend with tons of cutesy outfits and bows! See below for all the cute stuff! She is going to be stylin' as soon as she enters this world!

Along with the baby shower comes a weekend off for me - woo hoo! Josh and I finally had a full weekend to spend together with no real plans, that's exactly what we've needed! We were able to get some Christmas shopping done - the stores were already getting crazy! We got our nephews taken care but the weather was awful so we decided to take the afternoon to relax for a change before we headed out for a holiday date night! One of my favorite places to go during the holidays is The Gaylord Texan! There are great restaurants, holiday decor, fun for kids, and ICE exhibit! Even though the weather was cold and wet we ventured out for dinner at the Riverwalk Cantina in the Gaylord and drinks in the hotel lobby while we watched all the people take their Christmas card photos (seriously the wrong weekend for us to go!).

Dinner was good and it was extremely nice to go out just the two of us and have no where to be later or errands to run! Then perfect end to a great night - curling up on the couch to watch a movie in sweats with hot chocolate (and Bailey's!). Who doesn't love this time of year just for that reason alone! That and sleeping in when it's cold outside! We went to church the next morning and got groceries for the week - plenty of ingredients to make some great soups (my obsession during this weather!) Then Josh had the lovely task of helping me decorate our Christmas tree!

If it's one thing I love during the holidays, it's decorating and making the home the perfect snuggly place for Christmas time! There can never be TOO much! I can't wait until we get out first house to decorate for the holidays - Hobby Lobby is going to love me! After the Cowboys game, and a warm pot of Italian Chicken Soup (delish!) the living room was decorated and it was time to unwind for the evening. All in all a great relaxing weekend with lots accomplished!!

XOXO, J & K
