This past weekend we attended Bryce's birthday party! "Bryceratops" celebrated his
first birthday in prehistoric Dino Party style complete with a photo station full of foliage, volcano, and props! (Pictures of J-Rex and Kelladactyll to come). I have known Hailey since elementary school so needless to say being there to celebrate her son's first birthday was pretty cool. It's great to have close friends that are like family that live so close.
He has got to be one of the cutest little boys I have ever seen (aside from our adorable nephews!). He was rocking the sweater vest and button up - chicks dig that. There was awesome food and tons of picture taking fun before the big cake event....or so we thought. Apparently Bryce didn't like getting messy and was too worried about his balloon to dig in but definitely enjoyed some sugary goodness when he let mom and dad feed it to him! Too funny! He did actually get into it once everyone stopped watching him.
After the party our good friend Sarah got to Dallas to go with us to Pat Green that night. Love catching up with her! We all met our friends, Cathy and Ryan, in the Stockyards for dinner at Love Shack (fab burgers!), followed by drinks at Cattlemen's Steakhouse, then Billy Bob's to see Pat Green! It was a super fun night, Pat was awesome as always!
With the holidays just a few days a way, we hope everyone is staying in the Christmas spirit and has plans to spend it with their families and loved ones! Stay tuned for the next post on our first Christmas as The Sooters! Merry Christmas Everyone!
XOXO, J & K
