Well I finally got around to keeping the house clean enough to get pictures! We're finally settled into our new home and couldn't be happier here. Of course there are things we would like to change (mainly me!) but since we're renting it, it's out of our hands. The one thing that drives me nuts is that it is sooooo white. White everything. BUT we don't feel like painting it back when we move out so it's going to stay that way! We learned our lesson in the apartment :) We're enjoying having the space and backyard for Kingston and love the neighborhood. It's only 12 miles from the school for Josh and just under 30 for me to get to work (and there is mostly never traffic!) It is for sure different than living in Dallas. Best thing about living off a 2 lane road = NO TOLLS! Worst thing = school buses and carpool on school days when you're trying to get to work. Only one way out of town in my direction! It is super nice to be able to sit out in the backyard and not here the rush of the city life or cars constantly wizzing by. Just the sound of "nature" and actually being able to see the stars! Now with this fall weather finally coming in we can sit out and enjoy the new fire pit Josh got for his birthday - we've been waiting! So Midlothian is turning into a great home, and we can see ourselves eventually find a house of our very own around here once we get to know the areas a little better.
